We hire out megaphones
If
you are sorting out stewarding for a public event, as well as
walkie-talkies you might well need a megaphone - we hire them
for £15 + VAT per week

| We rent Kirisun 5W VHF 16 channel professional walkie-talkies for
£9 +
VAT per week or part-week, or £23 per month. Discounts for larger
quantities hired.

We have both VHF and UHF repeaters available to increase the area covered by a set of hired walkie-talkies and/or mobile radios. Price for hiring repeaters depends on how many walkie-talkies are being hired at the same time. Repeater hire includes twin clip-on aerials and long aerial leads. |  | |
- Earpiece / microphones for any of these
walkie-talkies are available for an additional £1.50 + VAT per week.
Speaker/mics, headsets and leather cases with carry straps and spare battery packs are also available for our
walkie-talkie radios.
- VHF walkie-talkie radios have the best range outdoors,
UHF walkie-talkies tend to have better signal penetration in and
amongst buildings. The range of any type of radio will be severely
reduced in and amongst big buildings. Expect no more than half a
mile in a City from any type or brand of walkie-talkie, and only a
few hundred metres in some situations.
- Each walkie-talkie radio that you hire comes complete with rechargeable battery and
"drop-in" mains charger unit. For the Kirisun and Motorola walkie-talkie radios we have 6 slot "multi-chargers" which are
more convenient when you have rented a larger number of walkie-talkies.
- You can collect the radios from our office in
Kilburn, London NW6, or we can deliver hired walkie-talkies anywhere in the UK. Price varies
according to quantity of radios hired out. Delivery ranges from £10 for a
few walkie-talkies, £15 for up to 15 walkie-talkies, and up to £30
for larger quantities. We can also do URGENT SAME-DAY delivery in the London
area using a direct courier service - please contact us for exact delivery
pricing.
- We usually take payment via credit/debit card before hired walkie-talkies
are sent out, but we can accept payment by cheque or bank transfer as well.
- We take Visa, Mastercard, Maestro/Switch, Electron, Solo and American Express
